Thanksgiving immer Dallas Detroit! Warum?

  • Hi

Other owners started to complain about the Cowboys and Lions getting the same advantage every holiday. Some of them wanted a piece of the action. In 1975 and 1977, the NFL allowed the St. Louis Cardinals to host the Thanksgiving Day game instead of the Cowboys. The Cardinals didn’t pull the same kind of ratings as the Cowboys. And Tex didn’t take too kindly to losing the holiday game. Those are the only two years since 1966 that the Cowboys have not played at home on Thanksgiving.

    It's all about the Ratings...

"He wandered 10 yards away or so from the truck, and then he turned and looked at us and kind of had this expression like, 'It was nice knowing ya.' It was this moment where like, both I knew and he knew that we’d had some good times, but this was it. It was onward and upward for both of us."
