    Bin auch "froh" das diesmal an Silvester keine Bowl Games sind, da hat man meistens weniger Zeit (oder Ausreden) Football zu schauen :thumbsup:

  • Deswegen, und ich habe mich schon gewundert warum da kein Spiel ist. Habe auch nicht auf den Wochentag geschaut. :madfan::mrgreen:

    Na dann kann ich ja die Jets mir noch angucken und dann für 2 1/2 Stunden zur Party gehen, dann pennen und dann am ersten schön weiter gucken. :bier::mrgreen:
    Versuche mir auch mal jedes Game zu geben. Die, auf dem Papier uninteressantesten sind meistens die besten Spiele. :bier:

  • Meine persönliche Top Ten der Bowl Games:

    1. Sugar Bowl: Clemson vs. Alabama
    Ganz klar meine #1. Die letzten beiden Jahre das Endspiel und dieses Jahr das erste Aufeinandertreffen ohne Watson. Ausgang offen.

    2. Fiesta Bowl: Washington vs. Penn State
    Neben den Playoffs das Spiel der Bowl-Season. Auf der einen Seite Barkley, McSorley gegen Vita Vea und eine Top-Defense. Auf der anderen Seite Gaskin, Browning and Petis. Das verspricht ein Feuerwerk an Big Plays und Spannung.

    3. Rose Bowl: Georgia vs. Oklahoma
    4. Cotton Bowl: Ohio State vs. USC
    Hab die beiden mal zusammengepackt. Zwei sehr interessante Begegnungen mit ein paar Top Prospects für die NFL. Wenn man jetzt noch die Austragungsorte flexibel getauscht hätte...

    5. Peach Bowl: UCF vs. Auburn
    Großartig, dass Coach Frost für das Playoff-Spiel noch bei seinem Team bleibt, das wertet die Begegnung noch mal zusätzlich auf. Bin sehr gespannt ob die Knights mit den Tigers mithalten können.

    6. Las Vegas Bowl: Boise State vs. Oregon
    Ganz klar, meine Broncos gehören auch in die Liste. Dieses Jahr sind sie wie die Gump' Pralinen - man weiß nie was man bekommt. Aber dieses Spiel hat eine gewisse Vorgeschichte zwischen diesen beiden Colleges (LaGarette Blount fragen ;) ) und dieses Jahr verspricht das durchaus intensiv zu werden.

    7. Citrus Bowl: LSU vs. Notre Dame
    Nachdem die Irish ja doch ein wenig auf Normalmaß zurechtgestutzt wurden, haben sie hier die Möglichkeit gegen ein aufwärts strebendes LSU noch ein Ausrufezeichen zu setzen. Mal sehen ob Guice einen auf Fournette macht oder doch im Bowlgame spielt.

    8. Alamo Bowl: Stanford vs. TCU
    9. Taxslayer Bowl: Mississippi State vs. Louisville
    10. Foster Farms Bowl: Purdue vs. Arizona
    Auch die drei wieder zusammengepackt, weil sie alle von der Paarung her ganz nett sind, aber wirklich sehenswert dank eines Spielers werden - bei Stanford ganz klar Bryce Love, der dann hoffentlich seine Verletzung auskuriert hat. Bei Arizona QB Khalil Tate und bei Louisville QB Lamar Jackson sind allein für sich ein Spektakel.

    1 - Finale (wenn Clemson dabei, sonst in platzierung weiter hinten :mrgreen: )
    2 und 3 - Die Halbfinals, natürlich Clemson vs Bama an 2 und hoffe wieder auf einen Tigers Sieg

    4 - UCF vs Auburn - Finde beide sympathsich und drücke hier UCF bischen mehr die daumen,
    5 - North Carolina A&T vs. Grambling State :D Denn der erste bowl, da weiss man nu geht die heisse zeit los....und gleich danach, zwischendurch Troy vs North Texas
    6 - Washington vs Penn State
    7 - Memphis vs Iowa State - die cyclones mit ihrem LB / QB haben sich mir einfach ins HIrn gebrannt :top:
    8 - Iowa vs Boston College
    9 - Texas Tech vs USF
    10 - Doubleheader: Stanford - TCU und Mich.State vs Washington State

  • Ich war schon etwas enttäuscht von den Ducks. Wenn die Broncos Offense nicht ordentlich nachgeholfen hätte, wäre das Spiel bereits zur Pause deutlich entschieden gewesen. Da hätte es ja locker 34:0 stehen können.

  • Der LANE-Train hat den Zips 0,0 Chancen gelassen. Kiffin hat ein sehr aggressives Game gecallt, mehrere 4th Down ausgespielt (erfolgreich) und ab Viertel vier konnten die Owls gemütlich zu Ende cruisen. QB Driskel mit einer sehr starken Leistung und RB Singletary war nach der Pause nicht zu stoppen.

    Und jetzt freue ich mich schon auf den Saisonauftakt '18 wenn die Owls auf Oklahoma treffen. *händereib*

  • Wake Forest vs. Texas A&M war bis jetzt das punktreichteste Spiel der Bowl-Saison. Wahrlich ein hin und her...

    Dafür gab es im Music City Bowl die bis jetzt katastrophalste Schiedsrichter Leistung. Ein Spieler wurde z.B. ejected, weil er sich weigerte vom Schiedsrichter hochhelfen zu lassen... :thumbdown:
