Cleveland Browns Offseason 2018

Broncos fans were absolutely finished with Olivo after a 41-16 loss to the Patriots in November. That game saw the Broncos:

    • Muff a punt return (Patriots recovered)
    • Allow a 103-yard kickoff return for a touchdown
    • Get a punt blocked by the Patriots
    • Have 12 men on the field during a 4th-and-5, allowing New England to have an automatic first down

    -------
Joar...kann man einstellen. Huedini biegt das mit seiner Magic um...

"And when that turnaround happens, wherever I am, I will smile – more than a little bittersweetly – and say, to myself, “Go Browns!”

Here's my theory - Jimmy Haslam sees how Hue is into some real Game of Thrones, plotting and backstabbing stuff, and in some twisted billionaire way he's decided this is a lot more fun to watch play out than actually fielding a successful football team. So in season 3, House Dorsey is the latest on the scene and attempting to seize power from House Jackson, who is in the midst of sending all his former allies to the gallows and bringing in new generals.

  • via Rapoport:

One potential landing spot for former #Titans coach Mike Mularkey: The offensive coordinator to #Browns coach Hue Jackson. There was interest if Mularkey ever became available.

-Funny, so many Browns fans still clamor for the "safe pick" ignoring that all we've done for 15 years is the "safe pick".

  • Hue didn't 'want' Kessler. He took one for the team and said 'trust me,' which I wish he wouldn't have. Stop #fansplaining to someone who actually talks to people who know things. ‍♂️‍♂️‍♂️

    Silver........ :tongue2:

    Einige Zitate
Jackson’s ego doesn’t want an offensive coordinator

    • Now, that report begs one question — is this guy serious? Jackson is the worst head coach in the NFL and should be thanking his lucky stars he’s still employed.

    • Jackson’s offense has ranked 31st and 32nd during his tenure, according to Pro-Football-Reference.com.

    • Most notably, Jackson’s agonizing tendency to stray from the run game highlights his need for an OC. Isaiah Crowell was among the NFL’s most efficient running backs in 2017.

    • The statistics illustrate the Browns effective running game behind their revamped offensive line. According to Pro-Football-Reference.com, the 2017 Browns ranked sixth in yards per carry. Furthermore, their 1,714 rushing yards were 18th in the league.

    • If the Browns are a top-six rushing team in terms of yards-per-attempt, then how did they rank 18th in total rushing? Well, the team’s 384 rushing attempts were 28th in the league — while their 574 pass attempts were ninth in the league.
    • Jackson thought placing the ball in the hands of his turnover-prone, rookie quarterback 30 times per game was the better option.

    • Not only is Jackson’s play-calling abysmal, his game management also suffers as a result. New England Patriots’ Bill Belichick doesn’t call plays. Pittsburgh Steelers’ Mike Tomlin doesn’t call plays. Kansas City Chiefs’ Andy Reid doesn’t call plays.

    • McAdoo Interview gestern - ebenfalls kein Update

Langsam bin ich es leid immer tweets ala´........... 30 years ago today #Browns were preparing for the AFC Championship Game. Today, Hue "1-31" Jackson is mulling over Mike Mularkey or Ben McAdoo as token OC. What a time to be a #Browns fan

......zu lesen . Was nettes wäre einfach toll !

  • Todd Haley also verfügbar.

  • #Browns left tackle Joe Thomas says he’s still pondering his future: "Some days you go back and forth" (Quelle)

Unsere Legende hadert weiter mit Retirement. Scheint wirklich eine 50/50-Entscheidung.

Was meint Ihr?

    • Veteran-LT via FA/Trade
    • Draft a LT früh (M.McGlinchey, O.Brown,...)
    • Draft a LT late...

2 Saisonen weg.

ICYMI: #Browns plan to hire Amos Jones as special teams coordinator

Nachtrag: das hier über ihn gefunden
Jones comes from Arizona, where he served in the same role since 2013. Jones spent six seasons in Pittsburgh prior to his stint with the Cardinals, spending five seasons as the Steelers' assistant special teams coach and as special teams coach in 2012.

  • Alle im Winterschlaf ? Hier tut sich 42 Std nix

    UND

    VOR ALLEM

    Berea????

  • #Browns are in serious talks to make Todd Haley their new offneisve coordinator, according to @mortreport. Ryan, McAdoo, and Mularkey likely all out at this point.
