    Auf NFL Network haben sie gerade berichtet, dass das treffen von JG und den Jonses rum ist und die medien das gebäude verlassen können... es wird heute keine entscheidung bekannt gegeben.

    Das wir am 14. Januar ohne Coach dastehen. Oder was ist das schlimmste?

    Ich verstehe gerade überhaupt die Aufregung nicht.

    Dann müsste man seinen Vertrag verlängern. Im Moment gibt es darüber aber keinerlei Anhaltspunkte.

    Warum sollte man das bekannt geben? Das tut gerade keine Not, weil jeder darüber informiert sein sollte. Fakt ist doch, dass man jetzt bereits Interviews führen kann, weil man weiß, dass ab 15 Januar die Stelle offen ist. Das ist ungewöhnlich, weil in der NFL die Coaches Verträge normalerweise immer vorzeitig verlängert werden, aber das ist nun mal hier die Ausnahme. Und deswegen muss ich jetzt auch noch kein Vollzug melden. Das kann ich machen, wenn ich einen neuen Coach gefunden habe. Und wenn mich keiner überzeugt, oder aus irgenwelchen Gründen auf 2021 vertrötstet, dann kann ich immer noch mit Garrett verlängern. Aber dazu sehe ich im Moment noch keinen Anlass.

    Ich bin da auch ziemlich entspannt. Der Vertrag von Jason Garrett wird definitiv nicht verlängert. Dafür waren die Erwartungen vor und während der Saison einfach eine ganz andere.

    Man wird sich jetzt wohl intensiv mit einem vorher vorhandenen Kandidatenkreis unterhalten.

    Man sollte auch die andere Seite sehen, Jason Garrett hat wohl jetzt die Gewissenheit das er auch mit anderen Teams verhandeln kann die einen neuen Head Coach suchen.

    An seiner Stelle würde ich das auch machen.

    Ich bin da auch ziemlich entspannt. Ob man nun heute oder in einer Woche bekannt gibt, dass man mit Garrett nicht verlängert juckt doch eigentlich keine Sau.

    Oder umgehkehrt, der gesamte Staff bleibt und nur Garrett darf nicht bleiben. :D

    Aber dann würde man ja Garrett kein zweites Mal zum Gespräch bitten;) Also ausgeschlossen scheint ein Verbleib nicht zu sein. Somit kann der Worstcase doch noch eintreten...

    Jerry hat wahrscheinlich ein bisschen Trennungsschmerz. Dürfte aber an der letztendlichen Entscheidung den Coaching Staff umzukrempeln nichts ändern.

    Übrigens haben Jordan Chunn und Daniel Wise future contracts unterschrieben.

    Damals hatte er bei der Trennung von Jimmy scheinbar nicht so einen Trennungsschmerz und der hatte ihm grad 2 Ringe besorgt :hinterha:

    Ich behaupte mal das Jerrys Aussage, jeder Trainer hätte Dallas die 2 -Ringe besorgt , nicht unbedingt dazu beigetragen hat , dass Jimmy auch länger bleiben wollte ..

    Das war allerdings NACHDEM Jimmy Interesse bekundet hatte, die Expansion Jacksonville Jaguars zu trainieren.

    Aber das ist alter und kalter Kaffee.
