    Der Ausfall von La'el Collins zu Beginn macht Bauchschmerzen, zumal mit den Rams gleich mal ein dicker Brocken im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes vor der Brust stehen werden. Da brauchst du eine funktionierende O-Line, gerade gegen Aaron Donald. Wenn man da jetzt Connor Williams rechts stellen sollte, dann würde man gleich zwei Positionen neu besetzen. Daher gehe ich erstmal davon aus, dass man schaut, wer auf RT noch funktionieren kann und Connor auf RG startet. Und da spricht viel für Erving, der aber aller Beobachter nach eher ein durchwachsenes Camp hatte.

    Ich hoffe es ist jetzt nicht allzu sehr off topic, aber mich würde mal interessieren wie Gregory in den letzten Jahren eigentlich bezahlt wurde? Er war ja mal da, dann wieder weg, dann wieder suspendiert, dann mal wieder da. Eigentlich ein ständiges on/off.

    Diese Woche werden von der Practice Squad folgende 4 Spieler geschützt:

    LB Francis Bernard
    DB Deante Burton
    DE Ron'dell Carter
    RB Sewo Olonilu

    Bis auf Burton alles Rookies (Burton ist in seinem 4. Jahr)

    Derweil hat man den Vertrag von Zach Martin restrukturiert und weiter 8 Mio Cap-Space freigeschaufelt:

    Wahrscheinlich wird nach Week 2 oder 3, noch nachgelegt was Spieler betrifft. Verträge sollen ja nicht garantiert sein die nach der ersten Woche geschlossen werden. Aber korrigiert mich wenn das nicht stimmt.
    Wäre aber schon gut um auf Verletzungen reagieren zu können.

    Jourdan Lewis ist out für das Spiel gegen die Rams. Wir werden also gleich mal den Rookie in Aktion sehen.

    Halbzeitfazit:

    Cowboys sollten hinten liegen, statt dessen haben sie irgendwie eine Führung herausgespielt.

    Good:
    Lamb wie beworben, schon jetzt leading Receiver. Zeke wirkt deutlich frischer als letztes Jahr. Die O-Line hält zum größten Teil.

    Bad:
    Schlampiges Tackling in der Defense, fallen ständig auf die Playfakes und Misdirections herein. FG verballers (ok, war aus 53 Yard aber das darf man auch mal indoors machen)

    Ugly:
    LVE und Jarwin schon verletzt raus. Und auch Cam Erving werden wir wohl so schnell nicht mehr sehen. Damit ist jetzt kein Ersatz für die Tackle-Position mehr verfügbar.

    Rams gewinnen verdient, aber meine Fresse. Der OPI Call war ja an Lächerlichkeit kaum zu überbieten. Dazu die zu unrecht gegebene Timeout vor dem ersten TD und das Ganze bekommt schon ein herbes Geschmäckle.

    Dennoch: Mit 17 Punkten wirst du dieses Jahr mit diesem Team nicht viele Spiele gewinnen. Ich fand das Offensive Playcalling erschreckend dürftig. Keine Ahnung ob das der fehlenden Practice-Time zuzusprechen ist, oder ob man einfach in diese O-Line kein Vertrauen hat, aber mit 4-5 Yards Outs kannst du in dieser Liga nix mehr reißen. Du hast mit Cooper, Gallup, Lamb eines der dynamischsten WR-Trios und dann sowas? Enttäuschend.

    Noch schlimmer fand ich allerdings die Defense-Performance. Wobei man in Halbzeit zwei immerhin ein paar Stops hatte. Der Ausfall von LVE ist natürlich gravierend und so wie es aussieht, wird er dieses Jahr oder vielleicht noch länger nicht mehr spielen.

    Und ja - der 4th Down Call wird diskutiert werden bis zum Erbrechen. Man hätte sicher auch das FG nehmen können, aber dann hätte man auch Garrett behalten können. So wollte man es erzwingen und das ging eben nach hinten los.

    0-1 und das wird nicht die letzte Niederlage bleiben dieses Jahr. Nächste Woche gegen Atlanta ist schon fast ein Must Win, sonst droht ein 0-3 Start.

    Meh. Bedient. Zum Glück schenke ich mir dieses Jahr den Gamepass. Bis jetzt habe ich es nicht bereut.

    Naja, vielleicht war ich zu pessimistisch und LVE kann doch noch ein paar Spiele machen dieses Jahr. Auf jeden Fall haben wir aktuell Bedarf auf der LB Position. Lee ist auch noch mindestens zwei Wochen raus.

    Jarwin wohl mit ACL dagegen ziemlich sicher raus dieses Jahr.

    Wenn ich Elite Money fordere muss ich den Unterschied ausmachen, dann muss ich auch mal Blitzes auswichen können und VORALLEM so ein Spiel gewinnen!
