    Eine auf den ersten Blick unscheinbare Woche 3 hat gestern begonnen. Aber gerade diese Spieltage haben es meist in sich mit der ein oder anderen faustdicken Überraschung. Heute stehen 3 Partien auf dem Programm, den gesamten Spielplan der wichtigsten Partien findet ihr hier (es fehlen lediglich ein paar FCS vs. Group of 5 Match-ups).


    Los geht's gleich in San Antonio, College Park (Maryland) und später in Colorado Springs.

    Guter Abend für die Service Academies: Sowohl Air Force als auch Army gewinnen dank dominanten Laufspiels ihre Partien. UTSA hat es gegen die Knights am Ende noch einmal etwas spannender gemacht, dank eines schnellen TD + 2 Pt Conversion, nachdem man schon 16 hintenlag. Am Ende aber brachte Army das Ding sicher nach hause - 6/6 bei 4th Down waren dabei ganz sicher einer der Schlüssel zum Erfolg.


    Und in der einzigen Power 5 vs. Power 5 Begegnung des Abends besiegte Maryland nach 0:14 Rückstand Virginia dann am Ende doch sehr deutlich mit 42:14 und 42 Punkten in Serie. Die Cavs bleiben weiter sieglos, die Terrapins weiter ohne Niederlage. Taulia mit 342 Yards + TD wie gewohnt souverän. Ob mit Maryland dann auch in B1G-Play zu rechnen sein wird, muss sich aber noch zeigen.


    Mal sehen was der heutige Tag dann so zu bieten hat.

    So, mal schauen ob die Nittany Lions schnellen Prozess mit den Illini machen. FSU gegen Boston College sollte auf alle Fälle eine klare Sache werden, falls die Seminoles den Gegner nicht zu sehr auf die leichte Schulter nehmen. LSU @ Miss State könnte das spannendste Spiel im early slot werden. Es wird mindestens so ziemlich das lauteste ...

    Penn State kriegt keinen Push von der O-Line gegen die Front der Illini. Kein Platz für die beiden extrem starken Runner und so kommt nur ein FG nach 1st & Goal an der 3 raus.

    Castellanos macht das mit Boston College bisher ganz gut. Auf den Füssen sehr gefährlich. Verdiente 10:3 Führung gegen FSU.

    Klares Ding. Geht viel zu einfach für die Tigers wie sie da übers Feld gehen. Nabers wieder voll dabei und Daniels findet ihn auch. Easy Sache imo.

    Illinois-QB Altmyer schon mit 3 INT, die letzte vor kurzem in aussichtsreicher Position vor der End Zone. Penn State muss aber erneut punten. Bleibt mit dem 7-16 relativ spannend.
