Sorry, hab gesehen, dass ich dran bin und dann einfach schnell gepickt...deine Schlafenszeiten kenne ich leider nicht.

Kurze Begründung zum Seahawks-Pick Jaxson Dart:

Habe länger mit mir selbst gerungen, ob ich diese Position überhaupt bedienen soll und v.a. ob bereits in Runde 1. Mehrere Faktoren haben für mich dann aber den Ausschlag gegeben: erstens bin ich nicht unbedingt großer Fan des Sam Darnold Signings. Ob nun eine zugegebenermaßen sehr gute Saison in Minnesota erstens diesen Vertrag gerechtfertigt und v.a. ob man auf Basis dessen ihn als den Franchise QB der nächsten Jahre sehen kann, stelle ich mal stark in Frage. Ob das die Seahwaks selbst tun, ist vielleicht auf fraglich, ist doch in den letzten Tagen durchgedrungen, dass sein Vertrag so strukturiert ist, dass man nach einem Jahr relativ leicht wieder "rauskommt".

Der zweite Faktor ist Dart selbst. Für mich zumindest QB2 in dieser Klasse, den ich (nicht nur aber auch ob des Position values) Mitte der 1. Runde nicht liegen lassen konnte. Ich sehe Dart irgendwie höher als der Konsens, aber er hat einige "traits", die mir wirklich gut gefallen: ich mag sein Pocket Awareness, Passgenauigkeit, seine Fähigkeiten als Runner und auch sein "Decision making" (das er - wie ich finde - stark verbessert hat). Ist das alles ausbaufähig - klar. Aber auch deshalb ist die Vertragssituation von Darnold optimal, das wäre dann ein klassisches "sit and learn"-Jahr für den Rookie. Für mich ist Dart der QB in dieser Class mit dem "highest floor" und jener, den ich mir am besten als Pro-QB vorstellen kann.
