Absolut. Aber ich rechne noch mit 2-3 Jahren und daher lag der Fokus auf den unmittelbaren Problemen.

Das ist mir wirklich schwergefallen, aber ich hatte mich schon gestern entschieden, diesen Weg nicht einzuschlagen und dann heute auch sicherheitshalber nichts mehr zu ihm gelesen. Er wäre eine perfekte Ergänzung für Shanahan gewesen….

James Pierce Jr hatte ich jetzt ehrlicherweise (so weit vorne) nicht mehr auf dem Schirm. Werde mich heute Abend mal Einlesen. Ein Zitat, das ich beim Stöbern eben gelesen habe, gefällt mir aber schon ganz gut. „He will create havoc.“

Die Position war der „vernünftige“ Pick, leider können sich die 49ers nach der Off-Season nicht den Luxus eines Luxuspicks leisten. Sonst hätten die Cowboys nach einer Alternative suchen müssen ;). Ob Pearce die Erwartungen erfüllen kann, ist genauso fraglich wie bei jedem anderen. Daher war es am Ende eine Bauchentscheidung.
