super, danke!! ich habe denselben fehler schon in den mockdrafts unter der woche gemacht und mir geschworen, dass ich auf die bye weeks aufpasse. naja..
und nachdem ich mir jetzt so die teams ansehe, ärgere ich mich ein bissl, mit 2 kicker einen rosterplatz verschwendet zu haben, anstatt 2 backup WR oder so zu draften. naja, live draft newbie halt. war bis jetzt immer nur die autodrafts gewohnt.

Let's start by remarking that we appreciate your old-school leanings: you have a team marked by strength at the running back position. Because the position is so sought after, a team constructed like this usually has a chance to make the playoffs. But with the quarterback and wide receiver both being less strong, you may need to do something to change the outlook of this team. Your deficiencies are likely to show themselves through the bye weeks, so try to manuever early in improving the quarterback and/or receiver positions before week four.

Keep an eye out for quarterbacks like Michael Vick and Josh Freeman last season, Brett Favre in 2009, Matt Cassel and Kurt Warner in 2008, and Derek Anderson in 2007. All were available cheap in August, and all contributed to fantasy championship teams. Similarly, wide receivers like Brandon Lloyd and Steve Johnson were available after a lot of the drafts. Landing some of this year's top waiver players would be a huge help, so pay close attention to increased workloads, targets, injuries, etc.

Players we particularly like on this team include Tim Hightower, Heath Miller, DeAngelo Williams, and the Falcons defense. We have all these guys ranked ahead of where they are typically being drafted.

Ich war ne viertel Stunde vor Draft Beginn da und kein Draft Button. Um acht Uhr kommt solangsam Panik und ich geh dann mal auf Live Draft, was sich als Fehler herausstellte, das wiederum hab ich erst heute morgen gemerkt. Die Leute im Draft waren erstaunlich ruhig und haben nur englisch geredet, komisch. Heute morgen geh ich auf mein Team von Nfl. Talk und sehe den Hundeliebhaber als mein QB ich denk oh da hat sich was vertauscht. nein dem war nicht so, ich hab bei live Draft einen komplett andren Draft mitgemcht.... jetzt hab ich die Bescherung. Wenn jemand meine Spieler haben will bitte melden ich trade gerne.

Es geht nicht immer um Quality bei FF, bei mir geht es um Herzblut... aber wie gesagt ich bin für Gespräche offen.

Your receivers are the strongest part of this team. While no team can be expected to be above average at all three core positions (QB/RB/WR), you are in the precarious position of being a bit weak at two of them.

Although you should not be counted out yet, you may need to be active on both the waiver wire and in trades to turn this team into a legitimate contender. The best way to achieve that might be to sacrifice some of your wide receiver strength to gain multiple players than can help your roster now. It's generally easier finding quarterbacks and wide receivers on the waiver wire than quality running backs.

Naja *g* .. habe absichtlich mit nem QB ein bissl gewartet (bis Runde 6) .. ich finde Matt Ryan jetzt nicht sooo schlecht (und als Backup Joe Flacco). Und bei RB habe ich an Position 6 einfach den "best available" Pick gemacht.
Aber gut..mal sehen, was die Season bringt.

Was für Aktivitäten würdest du erwarten? Die Saison hat doch noch gar nicht angefangen?

Ich bin mit meinem Team soweit zufrieden und bin generell keiner, der jede Woche alles über den Haufen schmeißt. Erstmal abwarten wie's läuft. Aber momentan sehe ich nicht, wie ich mich verbessern könnte.

Falls der eine zufälligerweise Peter von den Karlsruh Ankuhls ist: der ist im Urlaub ohne Internet, z.B.

Das geht noch besser: das "New Dream Team" hat einen RB-Slot komplett frei gelassen....

...und trotzdem gewonnen.

Karlsruh Ankuhls (Peter) ist definitiv noch aktiv. Der ist bis Samstag noch auf Malle im Urlaub und wird spielen. Das kann ich garantieren. Der spielt dieses Jahr zum ersten Mal FF ist total heiss drauf.

Das geht mir so auf die Nerven. Zuerst für die Liga melden und dann nicht mal bis zum 1. Spieltag aktiv sein. Ich werde noch heute meinen Kumpel anrufen und mit ihm das ganze klären.
