The Seahawks' Three Amigos
The bond that ties the Seattle Seahawks' top three receivers together is more than just a friendship. Jackson and teammates Koren Robinson and Bobby Engram have something even deeper than that -- a sort of sibling connection.
.....
The close relationship of Seattle's three top wideouts took another step last October, when Jackson went into seizures following a vicious shoulder-to-helmet hit from Dallas Cowboys safety Darren Woodson. Jackson spent the night in a Dallas hospital, while Engram and Robinson opted to skip the team flight back to Seattle so they could be with him.
''They were worried about me, so they stayed back to make sure I was OK,'' Jackson said. ''I really appreciate that. It meant a lot. ... We're kind of like family. We treat each other like family.''
“You have to stop the run first,” Hand told Seahawks.com. “That’s what we did in San Diego.” Hand knows, though, that he could feed off of John Randle’s ability to apply quarterback pressure from the inside. “That’s why I’m thrilled to be here. I don’t want to be just a run stopper. I want to rush the passer. I’m working with Randle and those other guys to get me some moves.”
