    Louisville wird sich ewig ärgern, dass sie das Pitt-Spiel so in den Sand gesetzt haben. Ansonsten wären sie jetzt immernoch mitten im Rennen um einen Playoff-Platz. So müssen sie auf völliges Chaos hoffen.

    Heute gegen Virginia scheint jedenfalls wenig anzubrennen. Jetzt schon 10 Viertel ohne Gegen-TD.

    Mit güter Mithilfe der Refs drehen die Cards doch noch die Partie. Waren allerdings auch ein paar eklatante Abwehrfehler dabei. Aber bei 4th Down wurde ein klares Holding einfach ignoriert, was definitiv ein First Down für die Hoos hätte sein müssen.

    Ich verstehe sowieso nicht, weshalb Collegespiele parallel zu TNF angesetzt werden, selbst wenn es sich nicht um solche Knaller wie Panthers@Bears handelt.

    Geht man nicht gerade deshalb vom klassischen Samstag weg, um mehr Aufmerksamkeit und natürlich auch die Übertragung im linearen TV zu bekommen?

    College Football war vor TNF am Donnerstag ein regelrechter Renner bis die NFL diesen Platz eingenommen hat. Dennoch muss man es so sehen, dass Samstags soviele Spiele auf einmal stattfinden, dass es für Colleges die nicht Alabama, Notre Dame, Texas und wie die Blue Bloods noch heißen, einfacher ist, sich gegen ein NFL-Spiel durchzusetzen, als gegen 10 gleiichzeitig stattfindende andere College-Matchups. Gerade heutzutage, wo NBC und CW jetzt auch noch regelmäßig Spiele übertragen. Da ist für Louisville Donnerstags bei ESPN einfach der bessere Sendeplatz als Samstags auf dem ACCN in Konkurrenz zu CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN, ABC etc. Man hat halt zu viele Mannschaften gerade wenn die Bye-Weeks vorbei sind, um die alle am Samstag unterzubringen.

    Dieses Jahr trägt die NFL ja auch noch am Black Friday Spiele aus, auch das war bis jetzt ein College-Gameday. Da wird man auch nicht einfach so zur Seite weichen.

    Dann ist die Spielpause von Samstag auf Mittwoch aber sehr kurz. Die MAC hat es ja so, dass man vor den MACtion-Partien die Bye-Week eingebaut hat, so dass man dann im November nur noch wochentags spielt. Das wird aber bei einem Team in der ACC kaum möglich sein und ist auch nicht gewollt.
