    Für Washington bedeutete das Partien at Indiana, Iowa, Oregon, Penn State Rutgers und zu Hause gegen Michigan, Northwestern, UCLA und USC. Vor allem die Auswärtsspiele in Iowa und Penn State sowie das Heimspiel gegen Michigan machen natürlich richtig Lust.

    Ich fand es auffällig, wie oft Stanford direkt Travis Hunter angegangen ist. Immer noch krass, dass er überhaupt die Luft hat, O und D zu spielen, aber mit zunehmender Spieldauer könnte es hinten öfter gegen ihn einschlagen.

    Glückwunsch an Virginia, ganz starker Aufritt bei den bislang ungeschlagenen Tar Heels mit Drake Maye! Der Fumble unmittelbar vor der End Zone hat es nochmal unnötig spannend gemacht. Mal sehen, ob das Niveau auch in den nächsten Spielen gehalten werden kann.

    Damit sollten wir aber nun auch alles gluck für dieses Jahr aufgebraucht haben. Sehr schwache Performance der Huskies gegen ASU. Zum Glück hat man dank des INT-Return-TD am Ende es noch iwie geschafft einen Win zu holen.

    Was sich schon seit Saisonbeginn andeutete, ist jetzt offiziell bestätigt: Die Utah Utes müssen die gesamte Saison auf ihren QB1 Cam Rising und TE1 Brant Kuthie verzichten. Und seit gestern verlieren sie auch noch ihren LB Lander Barton. Und dennoch ist das Team von Kyle Whittingham mittendrin im Rennen um die Pac-12-Krone. Kann man nicht hoch genug loben.

    Auch Texas muss auf QB1 Quinn Ewers für ein paar Wochen verzichten. Heißt, das erste Saisonspiel von Arch Manning rückt näher und näher. Im Moment aber ist noch Back-up QB Maalik Murphy an der Reihe und Manning rückt auf die zweite Position vor.

    Northwestern bekommt ein neues Footballstadion. Die Abstimmung war wohl knapp, ging aber zugunsten des Projekts aus. Nachdem Mitte des Jahres vieles ganz übel für die Wildcats und ihre Fans aussah, hat sich das in den letzten Monaten ziemlich schnell zum Besseren gedreht. Hoffen wir, dass es auch so bleibt.

    Das ist keine schlechte Entscheidung. War ja 2018 dort und das Stadion ist wirklich nichts besonderes. Ich kenne die anderen Stadien der Big Ten zwar nur aus dem Fernseher aber habe schon das Gefühl dass Ryan Field da deutlich abfällt von den meisten anderen.
