I don't know how you guys saw it, but the way that I see the Eagles after game 2 is:
1. Heartless, most of the game it looked like they were just waiting for the end, At halftime the reporter said that the players were yelled at from an assistant coach, why not Ried? Not that it matters he reported the team had no emotion. I agree. Your emotional RB and WR sit on the sidelines(Buck and Freddie) The ones that can fire up the team, and maybe get something started.
2. no plan whatsoever, I think that anyone of us could have come up with a better game plan than Ried. When they ran, they ran pretty good. I think the RB had 9 carries for 40 yards. You need to eat up the clock because the D is hurting and they throw it 50 times!?! Buckhalter comes in for one play no carries, and shows everyone that he is ready for playing time, that he is the no.1 RB, and then he sits on the sidelines for the rest of the game.
3. Recievers were horrible, to many dropped balls, again. OK McNabb looked like shit, but there were many catchable drops. Chad Lewis should have a permanent spot on the bench. For gods sake andy, put the god damn playmakers in the game. When the ball is thrown to Freddie, he catches it and get up with attitude. He may make mistakes, like the one where he should have cut in, but at least he looks to me like he wants to be there. He can't do worse than the others.
4. Westbrook played well other than the fumble, and we knew that would happen. He will also return a few for TD's this year.
5. The defense was in my opinion very good at the bend but don't break D, just that the offense/gameplan let them down. Still no QB prssure but that will come when McDougle gets back
The season is not lost yet, but if we continue to play this bad, then it's over. I don't mind the loss, but they haven't looked that hopeless since Doug Peterson was here. If yahoo offers me the pick this week, I will choose the BYE over the Eagles!
