    Wo die Namen hier gerade nochmal so dynamisch durchs Bild fliegen: Kann mich da nur wiederholen, gemessen an dem ungünstigen Draftspot (und nur 4 Picks in den ersten 5 Runden) war das aus meiner Sicht wirklich eine absolute Topdraft der Cowboys. Einen der 7th rounder hatte ich nicht mal als potenziellen Draftpick aufm Schirm, aber 7th ist ja nun eh crapshoot.

    Hängt aber natürlich auch davon ab, wie es mit Jourdan Lewis' ausstehendem Verfahren weitergeht...

    Wie gesagt, ich mag diesen positiv bekloppten (unser neuer Punt Returner) Ryan Switzer =D

    La'el Collins hat während des Offseason Programs als Right Tackle agiert. Scheint, als ob man die Möglichkeit ihn auf die Doug Free-Position zu switchen tatsächlich ernst meint. Bleibt die Frage, wer dann LG wird. Looney? Cooper?

    Aus der Abteilung Business as usual - die Cowboys haben 8 von 9 Draft Picks bereits unter Vertrag. Der einzige der fehlt ist 3rd Round Pick Jourdan Lewis:

    Ryan Switzer sieht ziemlich verschmitzt aus, so spielt er wahrscheinlich auch.
    Er könnte auch als RB eingesetzt werden, herrlich für option (Switz) play.


    Ich würde ihn sogar durchaus als Starter (im Special Team definitiv) und als Alternative WR/RB sehen.
    The Switz Army Knife ist eben ein Multi-Tool :rotfl: !

    Alle 13 UDFA-Signings von Post #204 wurden nun offiziell bestätigt.

    Und lt. Quellen haben die Cowboys mit den Ravens beim Draft um einen Uptrade in Runde 1 verhandelt - man hatte Harris von Mizzou als Ziel. Da die Ravens aber zuviel verlangten, hat man sich von dem Gedanken verabschiedet und mit Taco Charlton zu Frieden gegeben. Harris wurde von den Dolphins an #22 gedraftet.

    Sehr gut. Der Trade hätte nur Picks gekostet, die wir alle selbst dringend brauchen.

    Nach den ganzen Abgängen im FA sieht es noch immer so rosig nicht aus. Wir haben da viel Qualität, vollem in der Breite, verloren.

    Also wir haben uns auf jedenfall nicht verschlechtert. Wir hatten jetzt ja nicht wirklich die Elite CB, als vom Talent her haben wir ein Upgrade gemacht.
    Insgesamt finde ich unsere Defense interessant aufgestellt und sollten die Picks funktionieren werden wir uns in der Defense auch steigern im Vergleich zum Vorjahr.

    Geht schon wieder so gut los... erst die anstehende Sperre für Irving und jetzt die große Dummheit (anders kann man es nicht nennen) von Carroll. Sollte sich vielleicht mal mit Josh Brent unterhalten.

    Cleveland waived Darius Jackson (injury). Dessen Entlassung vor dem Playoff-Spiel hielt ich damals für einen Fehler. Mal sehen wie schwerwiegend die Verletzung ist. Soll woll Knie sein. Klingt nicht gut. Ansonsten gerne wieder her damit.

    Romo ist nun auch offiziell aus den Büchern - die Cowboys haben jetzt 17 Millionen USD Cap Space für dieses Jahr. Zeit die nächste Vertragsverlängerung einzutüten (Martin).

    Schade das man sich nicht um Dwight Freeney bemüht. Der wäre eine super Ergänzung und ein super Mentor für die jungen Spieler.

    Man was freu ich mich auf diesen Jungen. :love:
    Wenn der auch nur Ansatzweise seine Leistungen aus dem College in die NFL transportieren kann,
    dann haben wir mit dem letzjährigen Draft wohl einen der besten Draft aller Zeiten vollzogen.

    Der würde unserem LB Corps deutlich verstärken. Mit Jaylon und Sean Lee hätten wir wohl ein Top LB Duo.
    Dazu noch die talentierten CB und man würde einen Schritt in die richtige Richtung machen (Superbowl).

    ... am Anfang war es nur ein Gedanke...

    Jaylon Smith kann aus der Defense tatsächlich nochmal ein ganz anderes Kaliber machen. War im damaligen Draft vor der Verletzung mein #1 Overall.

    Ohne Worte... die Jungs sind teilweise einfach sowas von Blöd... der hatte echt gute Chancen auf einen Starting Spot.
    Ich hoffe immer noch auf Dwight Freeney. Soweit ich weiß, hat er noch nirgends unterschrieben.

    Es ist tatsächlich enttäuschend und man bekommt vorne keine Kontinuität rein. Muss unser DC wieder zaubern.

    und täglich grüßt das murmeltier....... kann es nicht mal ne saison / offseason geben ohne das ein vollidiot von uns scheisse baut

    Entlassen und nie wieder ein Wort über den Spieler verlieren. Sofern der Sachverhalt wie kommuniziert korrekt ist fehlt die geistige Eignung für so manche Dinge, sein Hobby zum Beruf machen zu dürfen eingeschlossen.
