"I don’t think he’s an elite player. He’s kind of robotic and mechanical. Accuracy’s off."
"Not a lot of vision. Not a really good playmaker."
"he needs to improve his decision-making, passing instincts and consistency"
"Were his comparatively basic passing responsibilities at Oregon determined by the coaching staff's lack of faith in him or their own lack of creativity?"
"Slow trigger and doesn’t always throw it when he sees it; holds the ball waiting for the open receiver."
"Was largely a one-read thrower at Oregon."
"Too conservative at times. Needs to trust his arm more."
"Locks on to one read and doesn’t come off"
"Even without film, it’s clear to see Herbert’s long frame sometimes leads to poor footwork in the pocket."Zum Vergleich, Nix:
"Nix needs to refine his game processing. He can telegraph primary reads, and his hesitancy during receiver breaks can lead to missed opportunities. This also extends to deep routes, where despite having the arm strength, he often hesitates."
"Sometimes hesitates and clutches the ball after correctly anticipating breaks."
"Oregon did not ask a lot of him as a processor down the field. Ton of screens, RPOs and simple vertical concepts."
"nconsistent dropback footwork. Too often disrupts his timing when working full-bodied dropback passing concepts."
"Can improve at staying on schedule from progression to progression after first reads."
"Doesn’t force throws but sometimes holds the ball too long and works into a corner."
"Is prone to hesitation working with tight windows and has more comfort with open WRs."Also ich sehe da durchaus Parallellen in den Reports.
