The Miami Herald believes the chances impending free agent Ryan Fitzpatrick re-signs with the Dolphins are between "slim and none."
The Dolphins' brain trust was noncommittal to a noteworthy degree when discussing Fitz at their season-ending press conference, and plugged-in beat reporter Armando Salguero believes the "Fitzpatrick dynamic in Miami has run its course." 38-year-old Fitz believes he is playing at the highest level of his career, and was hardly rah-rah when the 'Fins benched him for rookie Tua Tagovailoa. Fitz went on to turn in some effective relief appearances, but Salguero believes that also works against him, as Fitz's return would undoubtedly have Tua looking over his shoulder as a sophomore. Fitz is beloved by his teammates, but his bridge/backup show is probably going on the road yet again.
scheint wirklich so zu kommen, wie es auch einige hier vermutet hatten.
